Men's Issues

A lot of expectations are put on individuals at various points in their lifetime that can cause one to feel isolated, stuck, and trying to make sense of the world around us. This can be especially challenging for some men who may be needing to connect with someone to address those complex situations and express the difficulties they may be encountering at that time. Some of the reasons men may reach out for support include improving relationships, expressing emotions in a healthy way, navigating life transitions (eg. new father, retirement, new employment, grief), building their support system and isolation, and concerns with identity.

What Counselling Can Help with:

- Managing complex and intense emotions

- Dealing with life changes and transitions

- Relationship concerns

- Depression and anxiety

- Substance use concerns
