Substance Use

Whether you are looking to work towards a goal of abstinence, moderating your use or are still unsure of what you want your use to look like, counselling support is here. I work with clients using the Stages of Change and work collaboratively to identify problematic patterns of behaviour and establish setting realistic and attainable goals. This can include building on skills a client may already have, improving and building stronger communication skills, recognizing and improving emotional regulation, and managing relationship dynamics.

What Counselling Can Help with:

- Harm reduction, moderation or abstinence

- Identifying goals relating to substance use

- Relapse prevention and managing cravings

- Healthy relationships and effective communication

- Emotional regulation
